4 Reasons For

Miele Has Excellent Reviews for Its Vacuums

Miele high maximum input power vacuums have excellent reviews on average and across all vacuum cleaners Miele is one of the top rated manufacturers.

Fairly High Vacuum

At 33 kilopascals, the S6 Plus has a quite high vacuum compared to most of the other vacuums of a similar age and spec to the S6 Plus. Across all the similar spec vacuum cleaners that were released more than two years ago the vacuums range from 16kPa to 250kPa, and the average vacuum is 36kPa.

Chart Edit

Very Light

At only 4.5 kilograms, the S6 Plus is fairly light compared to most of the other high maximum input power vacuums that have been available for more than two years. The average weight of high maximum input power vacuums that were released more than two years ago is 7.8kg, and the weights range from 1.2kg to 110kg.

We compared all the other 4.5kg heavy vacuum cleaners to this vacuum and we think the Sebo Felix 1 Premium ($599.00) which has better reviews is also worth considering.

2 Reasons Against

Does Not Have a Brush Tool

The S6 Plus does not have a brush tool, although keep in mind that most of the other similar spec vacuums that are a comparable age to the S6 Plus also do not have a brush tool.

Chart Edit

Not Cordless

Most similar spec vacuum cleaners that have been around for a comparable time to the S6 Plus are not cordless. The S6 Plus is no exception to this as it too is not cordless.

3 Other reasons to consider the Miele S6 Plus

Average Operating Radius

With an operating radius of 10 meters, the S6 Plus has a relatively typical operating radius compared to most of the other vacuum cleaners of a similar age and type to the S6 Plus.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative 10m operating radius vacuums currently available including the Dyson DC19T2 which has better reviews.

Vacuum cleaners with a bigger operating radius that might be worth considering include the Nilfisk Bravo (10.2m) which also has a higher rating.
