Not 3D

The LG 43LF5100 is not 3D, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other televisions of this age and type are also not 3D.

TVs which are 3D that might be worth looking at include the Samsung UE40H6670, the Philips 40PFH6510, or the Sony Bravia Pro 55" 3D TV which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Feature OLED Technology

Like most of the other medium display diagonal TVs that have been available for a similar time to this TV, the 43LF5100 does not feature OLED technology.

There are a number of alternative TVs which also feature OLED technology which you might also want to consider including the Samsung UN50J6200 ($489.99), or the Haier LEF42V200.

Good Quality

Three customers wrote in their reviews that this TV was good quality. Five years ago Newegg.com mentioned “It does provide really great graphics quality for movies”. Jeremy12o34 mentioned “Good picture quality like most LG TV's.” in their LG 43LF5100 review but in spite of that they only gave it a score of 2 stars out of 5. The Cleaner mentioned in their review of this TV on Walmart.com “The setup was simple and the quality of the product far exceeds my expectations”.

Reliable

One owner who bought the LG 43LF5100 thought it was reliable. Newegg.com wrote “Speed, Torque, Reliability”. One person said in their reviews that this TV was well made.

Easy to Use

Two owners who reviewed the LG 43LF5100 said that it was easy to use. Does Not Have a Good Stand

One customer said in their reviews that the LG 43LF5100 did not have a good stand. Newegg.com said “It is very noticeable from my case and I ended up giving it to one of my friends in the end as I could not stand it”.
