Bruce wrote in his review of this tablet on Amazon “Build quality is really good and looks much more expensive than it costs”. Three years ago R. Kanda wrote in their review on Amazon “The units themselves are well built and have a 'nice feel' to them”.

Some HP Slate 7 reviewers mentioned in their reviews that it did not have a good battery life. G. Blackwell wrote “A little slow to boot, battery life is ok, screen is a little on the dull side”. Scott mentioned in his review four years ago “The only major downfall of this whole device (as I have been trying to get across the decent if not amazing character of this tablet) is the battery life”.
