Good for Games

A few customers who reviewed it thought it was good playing games on. Quite Fast Processor Frequency

With a processor frequency of 1.6 gigahertz, the Archos GamePad has one of the faster processor frequencys amongst Cortex-A9 processor tablet computers of this age. The average processor frequency of tablet computers of this age and spec is 1.4GHz.

Alternative 1.6GHz processor clock speed tablet computers currently available that you might also want to consider include the Xenta 7, or the TAB07-485 Noble Mini both from Yarvik or the Medion Lifetab E10315 which has better reviews.

If you want a faster processor frequency then you might also want to look at the TechniSat Mini (1.8GHz) which also has a higher rating.

Across all the tablet computers of a comparable age and spec to the GamePad the weights range from 260g to 3.7kg. At only 330 grams, the GamePad is fairly light compared to most of the other Cortex-A9 processor tablet computers that were released around the same time as the GamePad.

Poor Battery Life

If you would prefer a tablet computer that is 4G then you might also want to consider the MediaPad 10 FHD, or the MediaPad 10 Link both from Huawei.

With a display diagonal of only 7 inches, the GamePad has one of the smaller display diagonals amongst comparable spec tablet computers of this age. The display diagonals of tablet computers of a comparable type and age to the GamePad range from 7" to 22", and the average display diagonal is 8.7".

We compared this tablet to all the other 7" tablets and we think because of it's better review score, the 270G, and the 270 both from Hamlet or the Yarvik Xenta 7 is also worth considering.

Tablet computers with a larger display diagonal that might also be worth considering include the Mediacom Smart Pad S4 7.85 (7.85" and higher rated), the TechniSat Mini (7.85" and higher rated), or the Medion LifeTab S7851 (7.85" and higher rated).
