Good Size

Some customers mentioned in their reviews that the product was thin. Techworld.com wrote “One of the thinnest we've seen, measuring just 8m” in their review of the Archos 101. Computershopper.com gave the product a score of 4 stars and said five years ago “The 101 XS is slim and light—but a bit too pricey”. Pcadvisor.co.uk mentioned in their Archos 101 review on expert review site PC Advisor.co.uk “Between the tablet's two halves is a slim aluminium st” but even so they only rated the product 60 out of 100.

A few people mentioned in their reviews that this tablet was lightweight. Three years ago Digitalversus.com said on Digital Versus “A lightweight physical keyboard” in their review yet they only scored this tablet 3 stars. In the same month expert review site Whattabletpc.com said “It's lightweight and nippy with good versatility due to the large range of ports”. Whattabletpc.com also said “Solid, lightweight design”.

Several customers mentioned in their reviews that the Archos 101 was good structurally. Expert website Cnet.co.uk said in their review “The Archos 101 G9 sacrifices construction quality for a good screen, excellent expansion options”. Several Archos 101 reviewers said in their reviews that this tablet was good looking. Expert review site Cnet.com said in their Archos 101 review “The tablet business is pretty cutthroat (just ask Hewlett-Packard” however they gave the product a rating of 63 out of 100. Six years ago Expertreviews.co.uk said on Expert Reviews “The Archos 101 is a beautifully slimline tablet, with a brushed-metal screen bezel”. Two years ago Digitalversus.com wrote “This tablet is pretty classic-looking, although its sides, without actually changing in thickness by one iota, seem to be thinner on one end than the other” in their Archos 101 review.

A number of customers who purchased it thought it was a good design. Expert website Laptopmag.com said “A low price and sleek design make this Android tablet a tempting iPad alternative for those on a budget” but even so they scored the product 3 stars. Expert website Whattabletpc.com said three years ago “The Archos 101 Internet Tablet is a great value tablet at the price” in their Archos 101 review. Expert website Alphr.com said “Archos 7 products were actively sold as internet tab” in their review of this tablet although they scored the product 3 stars.
