A number of Apple iPad Air reviewers who bought it said that it was thin. Pcmag.com scored it 5 stars and wrote on expert website PC Mag four years ago “Slimmer, lighter” in their review. Pcmag.com also said “The result is an unusually slim, well-built platform for the best array of apps in the business”. Expert review site Macworld.co.uk mentioned in their review of the Apple iPad Air “It's thinner, has a better camera” .
Some Apple iPad Air owners who reviewed it agreed that it was compact. Laptopmag.com wrote in their review of this tablet four years ago “This 1-pound slate attempts to combine a big-screen experience with a design so compact you can easily use it with one hand” and gave it a rating of 5 stars. Laptopmag.com also wrote “The iPad Air's jaw-droppingly compact design, faster performance”.
One customer who bought the product reckoned that it was lightweight. Theinquirer.net said “Weighs in at a lightweight 469g, measuring a slimline 240x169.5x7.5mm - 20 percent thinner”.
One Apple iPad Air reviewer who purchased it considered that it was a good body shape. Expert review site T3me.com wrote in their review “With it comes a thinner and lighter body and an improved processor, courtesy of the A7 chip”.
