It may also be worth also looking at one of the alternative projectors which support full HD currently available including a cheaper data projector such as the NEC L102 ($797.40) or you might consider a higher rated data projector such as the W1300, or the TH682 ($929.03) both from Benq.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

The dimmest projector brightness of projectors of a comparable age and spec to this data projector is 300 ANSI lumens and the brightest is 20,000 ANSI lumens. The Vivitek H1180HD has a quite dim projector brightness (only 2,000 ANSI lumens) compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that were released more than two years ago.

We compared all the other 2,000 ANSI lumens brightness projectors to this multimedia projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Benq W1300 is also worth considering.

If you are looking for a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the Panasonic PT-TW340 (3,200 ANSI lumens and cheaper) or the Benq TH682 ($929.03) (3,000 ANSI lumens and higher rated), or the Epson 965H ($450.00) (3,500 ANSI lumens and higher rated).
