Quite Dim Projector Brightness

15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out more than two years ago have projector brightnesses of between 700 ANSI lumens and 11,000 ANSI lumens. With a projector brightness of only 3,000 ANSI lumens, the Vivitek D552 has a fairly dim projector brightness compared to most of the other projectors that were released more than two years ago.

There are a number of other 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors currently available which you might want to look at including the Viewsonic PJD6543W which has better reviews; or the Optoma S302 which is cheaper.

If this projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to consider the Optoma S316 (3,200 ANSI lumens and higher rated), or the Viewsonic PJD6350 (3,200 ANSI lumens and higher rated); or the Optoma X316 ($1,029.96) (3,200 ANSI lumens and cheaper).
