The PJD6550LW has a built-in speaker(s). Most of the other data projectors that came out more than a year ago also have a built-in speaker(s).

We compared all the other projectors with a built-in speaker(s) to this multimedia projector and we think the Optoma ML750ST, and the Viewsonic PJD5553LWS ($529.99) which has better reviews; or the Optoma GT760A which is cheaper are also worth considering.

We compared all the other 32dB noise level data projectors to this projector and we think the Viewsonic PJD5553LWS ($529.99) which has better reviews is also worth considering.

If you are not bothered about having a louder noise level then you might also want to consider the V7500 (28dB), or the H6518BD (31dB) both from Acer.
