Networking

Supports Wi-Fi

The VPL-SW620C supports Wi-Fi. Most of the other 3000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for around the same time as this multimedia projector do not support Wi-Fi.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other multimedia projectors which support Wi-Fi currently available including the Sony VPL-SX630 ($1,069.95), or the Hitachi CP-WX4022 ($1,219.16) which is cheaper.

The VPL-SW620C has a built-in speaker(s). Most of the other multimedia projectors of a similar type and age to this projector also have a built-in speaker(s).

Other data projectors with a built-in speaker(s) currently available which you might want to look at include the NEC UM330Xi which has better reviews.

We think you might also be interested in alternative multimedia projectors which also have a built-in speaker(s) including the VPL-CW276 ($1,679.73), or the VPL-SW630C ($1,529.95) both from Sony.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

Across all the 3000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for a similar time to this data projector the projector brightnesses range from 100 ANSI lumens to 7,000 ANSI lumens. At only 2,600 ANSI lumens, the VPL-SW620C has a quite dim projector brightness compared to most of the other multimedia projectors that have been available for a similar time to this projector.

If this multimedia projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might want to look at the Promethean UST-P1 (3,000 ANSI lumens), or the Sony VPL-CW276 ($1,679.73) (5,200 ANSI lumens).

Multimedia projectors with a louder noise level that might also be worth considering include the Hitachi CP-WU8440 (35dB), or the Sony VPL-SW630C ($1,529.95) (33dB).
