Most 2500:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released more than two years ago do not support full HD. The VPL-DX120 is no exception to this as it too does not support full HD.

Alternative data projectors which also support full HD that you might want to consider include the LG PB62G[plb_1488637_price], the Panasonic PT-DW740ELS[plb_1788305_price], or the Infocus IN8601[plb_1796831_price] which also has a higher rating.

We compared all the other 2,600 ANSI lumens brightness projectors to this projector and we think because of it's better review score, the VPL-DW120[pl_1421385_price], the VPL-DW125[pl_1443008_price], and the VPL-DX125[pl_1443009_price] all from Sony is also worth considering.

If this Sony data projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might want to consider the Qumi Q2[pl_1925642_price] (3,000 ANSI lumens), or the D795WT[pl_1839548_price] (3,000 ANSI lumens) both from Vivitek which is also higher rated.
