When compared to other comparable spec projectors that were launched more than a year ago that we have assessed, the Sony MP-CL1's projector brightness of only 37 ANSI lumens is one of the dimmest. Data projectors that have been on the market for a similar time to the MP-CL1 have projector brightnesss of between 37 ANSI lumens and 8,200 ANSI lumens.

If this multimedia projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to look at the NEC V332X ($439.29) (3,300 ANSI lumens), or the Infocus SP1080 ($549.00) (3,500 ANSI lumens).

Does Not Support 3D

The Sony MP-CL1 does not support 3D. Most of the other data projectors that are a similar age to the MP-CL1 do support 3D.

Alternative data projectors which also support 3D that you might also want to look at include the Acer P1385W or the LG PW800 ($442.99).
