Average Projector Brightness

The Promethean UST-P1 has a fairly typical projector brightness (3,000 ANSI lumens) compared to most of the other data projectors of a similar type and age to this data projector.

We think you might also be interested in some of the other 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness multimedia projectors currently available including cheaper multimedia projectors such as the Optoma EX685.

If you would prefer a brighter projector brightness then you might want to look at the Sony VPL-CW276 ($1,679.73) (5,200 ANSI lumens and cheaper).

Quite Quiet Noise Level

With a noise level of only 33 decibels, the Promethean UST-P1 has one of the quieter noise levels amongst 3000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors of this age. Across all the 3000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for more than two years the noise levels range from 25dB to 45dB.

We compared this data projector to all the other 33dB noise level multimedia projectors and we think cheaper data projectors such as the VPL-SX630 ($1,069.95), and the VPL-SW620C both from Sony is also worth considering.

If you don't mind having a louder noise level then you might want to consider the Sony VPL-SW630C ($1,529.95) (33dB).

Does Not Support Full HD

Like most of the other projectors of a comparable type and age to this projector, the Promethean UST-P1 does not support full HD.

We compared this projector to all the other data projectors with a full HD and we think the Hitachi CP-WX4022 ($1,219.16) is also worth considering.
