One owner who reviewed the product wrote that it was well made. Pompompom wrote on Amazon two years ago “Fantastic engineering ideas and poor execution (unless I've been really unlucky” in their Philips HDP1550 review.

Good Product Quality

Two people reckoned that it was good quality. Two years ago Roop gave it a score of 7 stars and said “As they say about 40 inches away from the wall the picture quality is good” in their review of the Philips HDP1550. Pompompom said on Amazon “The picture quality is ok if you sit far enough, mind you” in their review of the Philips HDP1550.
