Performance

Quite Quiet Noise Level

The noise levels of projectors of this spec and age range from 28dB to 54dB, and the average noise level is 36dB. With a noise level of only 35 decibels, the PT-VX400 has a quite quiet noise level compared to most of the other 2000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for a comparable time to this projector.

We compared all the other 35dB noise level multimedia projectors to this multimedia projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Sony VPLFH36/W ($3,480.00) is also worth considering.
