Multimedia projectors built by Panasonic generally have excellent reviews compared to other brands.

The average noise level (economic mode) of new data projectors is 31dB. With a noise level (economic mode) of only 29 decibels, the Panasonic PT-EX520 has a fairly quiet noise level (economic mode) compared to most of the other 2000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released around the same time as the PT-EX520.

Does Not Support Full HD

The Panasonic PT-EX520 does not support full HD, although it is worth noting that most of the other comparable spec multimedia projectors that were launched in the last year also do not support full HD.

There are a number of other multimedia projectors which also support full HD that you might want to consider including the Hitachi CP-CX251N, the DELL 1850 ($600.00), or the Panasonic PT-EW550 ($2,406.59).

The Panasonic PT-EX520 does not support 3D. Most of the other recently released projectors also do not support 3D.

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

Most similar spec multimedia projectors that came out in the last year do not support wi-Fi. The Panasonic PT-EX520 is no exception to this as it too does not support wi-Fi.

We think you might also be interested in alternative multimedia projectors which also support wi-Fi including the EB-G7000W, or the EB-G7800 both from Epson or the Canon WUX450ST ($5,229.05).
