1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Graphics Resolution

The highest resolution supported by the Optoma W301 is 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over two times the resolution of the most common graphics resolution of 1024 x 768 (XGA) (which is also supported by this Optoma multimedia projector). This multimedia projector also support graphics resolutions of 1280 x 800 (WXGA) and 640 x 480 (VGA) and 800 x 600 (SVGA). The best resolution of all 15000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that are more than a year old is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) and the worst is 640 x 480 (VGA).

If the resolution of this multimedia projector is too low for you then you might want to consider the Optoma X401 ($1,049) (1024 x 768 (XGA and higher rated), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA and higher rated), 1600 x 1200 (UXGA and higher rated), 640 x 480 (VGA and higher rated), 800 x 600 (SVGA and higher rated) and higher rated).

WXGA (1280x800) Native Projector Resolution

This projector has a native projector resolution of WXGA (1280x800), which is the most frequently found native projector resolution on multimedia projectors that have been around for around the same time as it.

We compared all the other projectors that have a resolution of WXGA (1280x800) to this projector and we think a higher rated projector such as the [plb_2227618] are also worth considering.

Projectors with a higher resolution that might be worth also looking at include the Optoma EH415 ($802.75) (1080p (1920x1080 and higher rated) and higher rated), or the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 ($639.99) (1080p (1920x1080 and higher rated) and higher rated).

We think you might also be interested in alternative 3000 ANSI lumens brightness multimedia projectors including a higher Kagoo Rating™ projector such as the Optoma X302, or the Viewsonic PJD6383S ($350).

Projectors with a brighter projector brightness that might be worth also looking at include the S316 (3200 ANSI lumens and higher rated), or the X316 ($1,029.96) (3200 ANSI lumens and higher rated) both from Optoma.
