3D Pictures Are Very Good for the Money

Three customers who reviewed it thought it had a good 3D picture quality. Trusted Reviews wrote in their review of this projector “3D pictures are very good for the money” but they only gave the product a rating of 1 stars. Expert review site Trustedreviews.com mentioned in their Optoma HD83 review “At the time of writing, we've recently seen excellent new 3D projectors from Sony”. Trustedreviews.com also said “Bright pictures in 2D and 3D mode look absolutely excellent for the HD83's money.” in their review.

2D Dark Scenes Still Struggle With Shadow Detail

The Optoma HD83 supports full HD, which is unusual. Most of the other similar spec projectors that have been around for around the same time as this data projector do not support full HD.

There are a number of other data projectors which support full HD currently available that you might want to look at including cheaper projectors such as the Benq W7500.

The dimmest projector brightness of multimedia projectors that were released more than two years ago is 75 ANSI lumens and the brightest is 11,000 ANSI lumens.

If this projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might want to consider the Benq W7500 (2,000 ANSI lumens and cheaper).
