Design

Good Product Quality

Three Optoma HD28DSE owners who reviewed it thought it was good quality. Pcmag.com rated the Optoma HD28DSE 6 stars and said on PC Mag “Delivers reasonably good image quality for 2D and 3D” in their Optoma HD28DSE review. Two years ago Techradar.com gave it a rating of 7 stars and wrote “Picture quality eons better than that old data projector from work you used to use”. Mark34 mentioned on Bhphotovideo.com “To upgrade to the next/newer models) I decided to stick with Optoma because I was very happy with the quality and durability” in their Optoma HD28DSE review.

Nice Design

One Optoma HD28DSE owner who reviewed it considered that it was neat. Trustedreviews.com mentioned in their review of this projector on expert review site Trusted Reviews “It hides a neat feature up its sleeves”.


Good High Def TV

Two customers who reviewed the product thought it was good at displaying high definition TV. Techradar.com said in their Optoma HD28DSE review “Is this the most detailed Full HD image from a budget projector? Absolutely”. Korvorkian mentioned on Bhphotovideo.com “This is my first HD projector and it was well worth every penny”.

Sharp Image

Two customers who bought it considered that it had a sharp image. In April last year Testedtechnology.co.uk wrote in their Optoma HD28DSE review “Darbee processing adds remarkable sharpness and detail” but despite that they only scored it 14 out of 100. Expert website Projectorcentral.com wrote in their review of this projector “While serious videophiles will use this sparingly or not at all, we expect many users will enjoy the increased sharpness, detail” .

Two people said that it had good picture quality. One customer who purchased it wrote that it was good for playing games on. Testedtechnology.co.uk mentioned last year “Low input lag for gaming” but in spite of that they scored the product 1 stars.

One customer concluded that it was good for watching sport. Two years ago Mark34 gave this projector a rating of 7 stars and mentioned “If you are looking for BIG clear crisp viewing for Sports/Movies, this is the one to get”.

Good 3D Picture Quality

Two customers agreed that it had a good 3D picture quality. Testedtechnology.co.uk mentioned “Full 1080p resolution in 2D and 3D” in their review of this projector. Testedtechnology.co.uk also wrote “Dobry kontrast i ekspresja barw, ponadprzecitne odwzorowanie ruchu, wspaniae 3D, skuteczny Darbee, nieze materiay i wykoczenie” in their review.

Good Remote Control

One Optoma HD28DSE reviewer said in their reviews that the product had a good remote control. Testedtechnology.co.uk mentioned in April last year “Backlit remote” but even so they scored this projector 14 out of 100.

We compared this data projector to all the other data projectors which support full HD and we think cheaper projectors such as the Epson EH-TW5350 is also worth considering.

It is worth considering alternative projectors which also support full HD including the LG PF1000U ($1,147).
