A few Optoma GT760 owners who reviewed this projector reckoned that it was good at displaying high definition TV. Jtt mentioned in their review of this projector “Excellent HD short throw projector”. Good Picture Quality

That's over six times the resolution of the most frequently found supported graphics resolutions of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this projector).
