With a projector brightness of 4,000 ANSI lumens, the Optoma EW400 has one of the brighter projector brightnesses amongst 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors of this age. Across all the projectors that are a similar age to this multimedia projector the projector brightnesses range from 700 ANSI lumens to 11,000 ANSI lumens.

If you would prefer a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the EH415e (4,200 ANSI lumens), or the X501 (4,500 ANSI lumens) both from Optoma.
