Whitmore mentioned in their review of this projector “Having played with it I wish I'd bought a more compact, higher resolution projector even though the cost is higher”. Bibi wrote “It is compact and small 2”. Mr. Chris Jones he mentioned in his review of this projector on Amazon “Its a nice light compact machine plenty of light for a semi illuminated room”.

Dp said in their review “At 3.5 inches depth it fits easily into my laptop bag for travel” and gave the Optoma DX342 a rating of 5 stars. That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most common resolution supported by 18000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that have been available for more than a year. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this projector.
