Supports 3D

The Optoma DU400 supports 3D. Most of the other comparable spec multimedia projectors that were launched around the same time as the DU400 also support 3D.

There are a number of other projectors which support 3D currently available that you might also want to consider including a cheaper data projector such as the Optoma DH400 or you might consider a higher rated data projector such as the Benq HT2150ST ($999.00).

Supports Full HD

Like most of the other projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to the DU400, the Optoma DU400 supports full HD.

There are a number of other projectors which support full HD currently available which you might want to consider including the Benq HT2150ST ($999.00) which has better reviews; or the Vivitek DH833 ($1,059.43) which is cheaper.

There are a number of alternative data projectors which also support full HD that you might want to look at including the Infocus IN2128HDX ($1,011.65).

The Optoma DU400 has a maximum resolution of WUXGA (1920x1200). That's 11% more resolution than the most common projector native resolution of 1080p (1920x1080).

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors and we think the Optoma DH400 which is cheaper is also worth considering.

If this projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might also want to look at the DH833 ($1,059.43) (4,500 ANSI lumens), or the DW832 ($974.37) (5,000 ANSI lumens) both from Vivitek which is also cheaper.
