Optoma Multimedia Projectors Have Good Reviews

Optoma has good average ratings for its 10000:1 contrast ratio data projectors as well as across its entire data projector range.

Acceptable Noise Level

One person mentioned that it was quiet. In October Jez said in their Optoma DH1017 review “Bright, crystal clear and silent”.

Supports Full HD

Unlike most of the other multimedia projectors of a similar spec and age to the DH1017 which do not support full HD, the Optoma DH1017 supports full HD.

Other multimedia projectors which support full HD currently available that you might also want to consider include because of it's better review score, the W1080[pl_1495063_price], the W1400[pl_1731595_price], or the TH682[pl_2448398_price] all from Benq.

Supports 3D

The Optoma DH1017 supports 3D, which is unusual. Most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that came out around the same time as the DH1017 do not support 3D.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which support 3D to this multimedia projector and we think the W1080[pl_1495063_price], the W1400[pl_1731595_price], and the TH682[pl_2448398_price] all from Benq which has better reviews is also worth considering.
