The Optoma DH1008 supports full HD, which is unusual. Most of the other data projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to the DH1008 do not support full HD.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative projectors with a built-in speaker(s) currently available including the GP20, or the W750 both from Benq which has better reviews.

It is worth considering other data projectors which also have a built-in speaker(s) including the LG PW700 ($555.00).

Supports 3D

The Optoma DH1008 supports 3D, as do most of the other similar spec multimedia projectors that are a comparable age to the DH1008.

There are a number of other projectors which support 3D currently available which you might also want to look at including the GP20, or the W750 both from Benq which has better reviews.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other projectors with a 3D and we think the LG PW700 ($555.00) is also worth considering.

The highest resolution supported by the Optoma DH1008 is 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most frequently found supported graphics resolutions of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this Optoma projector).
