Does Not Support Wi-Fi

The NEC V311 does not support wi-Fi, although keep in mind that most of the other multimedia projectors that were released around the same time as the V311 also do not support wi-Fi.

It is worth considering alternative data projectors which also support wi-Fi including the EB-430 LW, the EB-425W, or the BrightLink 436Wi ($1,861.72) all from Epson which also has a higher rating.

Average Projector Brightness

At 3,100 ANSI lumens, the NEC V311 has a relatively average projector brightness compared to most of the other projectors of a comparable age and spec to the V311.

We compared this projector to all the other 3,100 ANSI lumens brightness projectors and we think because of it's better review score, the BrightLink Pro 1410Wi, and the BrightLink 485Wi both from Epson or the Optoma TW610STi is also worth considering.

If this projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might also want to consider the VPL-SX235 ($125.54) (3,200 ANSI lumens), the VPL-DX142 ($736.33) (3,200 ANSI lumens), or the VPL-DX147 ($725.00) (3,200 ANSI lumens) all from Sony which also has a higher rating.
