NEC Has Good Multimedia Projector Reviews

We calculated the average reviews for all NEC projectors and also specifically for NEC 3000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors and found that in both cases NEC had good reviews compared to other brands. 100% of those that bought a NEC multimedia projector would recommend the product that they bought to other buyers.

Four people who reviewed this projector reckoned that it had a good 3D picture quality. Pc Mag mentioned “3D capable”.

Six people thought it was good quality. Pcmag.com wrote “It showed good data image quality in our testing, has a solid range of connection ports, is portable”. Pcmag.com also wrote “Its data image quality is good” in their review. Pcmag.com also said “The NEC NP-V311W provides 3D capability and good image quality” in their review.

Solid Range of Connection Choices

Three customers mentioned that the product was well made. Pc Mag said in their review of the NEC V311 on PC Mag three years ago “Solid range of connection choices”. Expert review site Pcmag.com said in their review of this projector in the same month “The NEC NP-V311X ($599 direct) is a solid choice as a modestly priced business projector for classroom or office use”.

We compared this data projector to all the other projectors with a built-in speaker(s) and we think because of it's better review score, the Benq SH960 ($3,239), the LG BC775, and the Hitachi CPX2515WN is also worth considering.

Does Not Support Full HD

The NEC V311 does not support full HD, although it is worth noting that most of the other similar spec projectors that are a comparable age to this multimedia projector also do not support full HD.

There are a number of alternative data projectors which also support full HD that you might want to look at including the Benq SH960 ($3,239), the Epson 475Wi ($2,102.34), or the Hitachi CP-WX8255A which also has a higher rating.

We think you might also be interested in some of the other 3,100 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors currently available including because of it's better review score, the BrightLink 485Wi ($1,799), or the BrightLink Pro 1410Wi ($1,149) both from Epson or the NEC NP-M311W.

If you would prefer a multimedia projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might also want to consider the VPL-DX142 ($734.82) (3,200 ANSI lumens), the VPL-SX235 (3,200 ANSI lumens), or the VPL-DX147 ($779.95) (3,200 ANSI lumens) all from Sony which also has a higher rating.
