With a projector brightness of 4,500 ANSI lumens, the NEC NP-P451 has a fairly bright projector brightness compared to most of the other comparable spec multimedia projectors that were released more than two years ago. Projectors that have been around for a similar time to the NP-P451 have projector brightnesss of between 500 ANSI lumens and 13,000 ANSI lumens.

If you are looking for a multimedia projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the NEC P501X[plb_1555276_price] (5,000 ANSI lumens).

1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Supported Graphics Resolutions

The highest resolution supported by the NEC NP-P451 is 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most common supported graphics resolutions of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this projector). This multimedia projector also support supported graphics resolutionss of 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 800 (WXGA) and 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

A 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) supported graphics resolutions is in fact the best supported resolution amongst all projectors of this age and type.

Amongst similar types of projector the worst supported resolution is 640 x 480 (VGA).
