One NEC NP-M282 reviewer wrote in their reviews that this projector had good features. Two years ago expert website Projectorcentral.com said in their review of the NEC NP-M282 “The NEC NP-M282X is a new XGA projector with some interesting features that make it perfect for education”.

Supports Full HD

The NP-M282 supports full HD. Most of the other projectors of this age and spec do not support full HD.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which support full HD to this multimedia projector and we think because of it's better review score, the W1500, the MH680, and the W1300 all from Benq is also worth considering.

The NP-M282 has a fairly loud noise level (38 decibels) compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that were released more than two years ago.

If you would consider a projector with a louder noise level then you might want to look at the Epson PowerLite 955W ($699) (37dB).

Average Projector Brightness

At 2,800 ANSI lumens, the NP-M282 has a pretty typical projector brightness compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for around the same time as this multimedia projector.

If you would prefer a data projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the 1430Wi ($2,495) (3,300 ANSI lumens), or the 1975W ($1,915.99) (5,000 ANSI lumens) both from Epson.
