We calculated the average ratings for all NEC projectors and also specifically for NEC 3000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors and found that in both cases NEC had good ratings. 100% of those that bought a NEC data projector would recommend the product that they bought to other buyers.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker(s) to this data projector and we think cheaper data projectors such as the VPL-DW122 ($379.99), the VPL-DX142 ($734.83), and the VPL-DX127 all from Sony is also worth considering.
