At 31 decibels, the LG PW800G has a fairly average noise level compared to most of the other data projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as this projector.

We compared this projector to all the other 31dB noise level projectors and we think because of it's better review score, the H111, and the DH1009 ($1,484.40) both from Optoma or the Benq W700+ is also worth considering.
