The worst resolution of all 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to this multimedia projector is SVGA (800x600) and the best is WUXGA (1920x1200).

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

The projector brightnesses of projectors of a comparable spec and age to this data projector range from 300 ANSI lumens to 20,000 ANSI lumens. With a projector brightness of only 2,500 ANSI lumens, the IN8606HD has one of the dimmer projector brightnesses amongst 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors of this age.

If you are looking for a brighter projector brightness then you might also want to look at the Panasonic PT-LB280E (2,800 ANSI lumens), or the Epson EB-W28 (3,000 ANSI lumens) which is also cheaper.

Quite Quiet Noise Level

The quietest noise level of similar spec projectors that were released more than two years ago is 28dB and the loudest is 49dB. With a noise level of only 33 decibels, the IN8606HD has one of the quieter noise levels amongst 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors of this age.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative 33dB noise level projectors currently available including the Acer K335 ($736.99), or the Benq W1400 which has better reviews.

If you don't mind having a louder noise level then you might also want to look at the Optoma X304M ($579.99) (33dB).
