Acceptable Noise Level

A number of Infocus IN114 reviewers said in their reviews that it was noisy. Peter Andrew Traynor said on Amazon “I found that it performs well with very little noise and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it coped in situations where there was partial overhead”. Radu - Eosif Mihailescu mentioned “Fan noise is low enough you can deliver a presentation without PA near it” in their review of the Infocus IN114 and gave the Infocus IN114 a very good review.

One customer who reviewed the product considered that it was not good looking. One customer considered that this projector was not a good design. Expert website Projectorreviews.com said in their review of the Infocus IN114 “The overall design of the projector is not impressive or unusual”.

Does Not Support Full HD

The Infocus IN114 does not support full HD. Most of the other comparable spec data projectors that were released around the same time as the IN114 also do not support full HD.

There are a number of other multimedia projectors which also support full HD that you might want to consider including the Acer X112H.

At 3,200 ANSI lumens, the Infocus IN114 has a pretty average projector brightness compared to most of the other data projectors that have been available for more than a year.

We compared all the other 3,200 ANSI lumens brightness multimedia projectors to this projector and we think the IN112 ($262.99), and the IN116 ($331.99) both from Infocus or the Viewsonic PJD5255 ($301.99) which has better reviews is also worth considering.

If this multimedia projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to look at the Viewsonic PJD5151 (3,300 ANSI lumens and higher rated).

With a noise level of 32 decibels, the Infocus IN114 has a relatively standard noise level compared to most of the other similar spec projectors that are a comparable age to the IN114.
