We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative projectors which support Wi-Fi currently available including the PT-VW355N ($1,291.95), or the PT-VX425N ($1,324.95) both from Panasonic which is cheaper.

The CP-WX5500 supports full HD, unlike most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been around for more than a year which do not support full HD.

We compared all the other data projectors which support full HD to this projector and we think the Benq W3000 which has better reviews; or the NEC M403H ($1,185.47), and the Benq MH856UST which is cheaper are also worth considering.

Across all the projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to this multimedia projector the noise levels range from 27dB to 48dB.

There are a number of alternative 38dB noise level multimedia projectors currently available which you might also want to look at including the Hitachi CP-X5550 which is cheaper.

Projectors with a louder noise level that might be worth considering include the Epson 1970w (39dB and cheaper), or the Benq MH856UST (37dB and cheaper).
