Expert review site Pcauthority.com.au said “It takes the advancements in power consumption and thermal performance of Intel's mobile push and aims to produce a pretty powerful PC in a very small space”. Expert review site Arstechnica.com mentioned three years ago “Mini-desktops like Intel's Next Unit of Computing (NUC) are pretty good at being small.” in their Gigabyte BRIX review. The Gigabyte BRIX does not support full HD. Most of the other projectors that came out more than two years ago also do not support full HD.

There are a number of other projectors which also support full HD which you might also want to look at including the Optoma HD83[plb_1763299_price], or the Epson EH-TW6600[plb_2495277_price] which also has a higher rating.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

Across all the projectors of a similar spec and age to the BRIX the projector brightnesss range from 75 ANSI lumens to 11,000 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 2,900 ANSI lumens. The projector brightness of the Gigabyte BRIX of only 75 ANSI lumens is one of the dimmest amongst data projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to the BRIX.

If you would prefer a projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might also want to look at the LG PH300[plb_2760526_price] (300 ANSI lumens), or the Epson EH-TW6600[plb_2495277_price] (2,500 ANSI lumens) which also has a higher rating.
