The PowerLite W17 supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most common resolution supported by projectors of a comparable type and age to the PowerLite W17. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this Epson multimedia projector. In addition, this data projector support supported graphics resolutionss of 1280 x 960, 1366 x 768, 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) and 800 x 600 (SVGA). The resolution of all 10000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that came out around the same time as the PowerLite W17 ranges from 640 x 480 (VGA) (worst) to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) (best).
