Supports Full HD

The Epson Home Cinema 6030 supports full HD, as do most of the other projectors that came out more than two years ago.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the alternative data projectors which support full HD currently available including because of it's better review score, the Sony VPL-HW50ES/W, the Acer H9500BD, or the Optoma HD421X.

Average Projector Brightness

At 2,400 ANSI lumens, the Epson Home Cinema 6030 has a pretty average projector brightness compared to most of the other similar spec data projectors that were released more than two years ago.

We compared all the other 2,400 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors to this projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Epson 5020UB is also worth considering.

If this data projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to look at the Sony VPL-SW526C (2,500 ANSI lumens), the Casio XJ-V1 (2,700 ANSI lumens), or the Optoma X313 (3,000 ANSI lumens) which also has a higher rating.

Performance

Average Noise Level

At 32 decibels, the Home Cinema 6030 has a fairly average noise level compared to most of the other projectors that have been around for around the same time as this data projector.

We compared all the other 32dB noise level projectors to this projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Infocus IN2128HD ($912.45), the Epson 5020UB, and the Vivitek Qumi Q2L is also worth considering.
