The highest resolution of the Home Cinema 600 is SVGA (800x600). That's 53% less resolution than the most frequently found projector native resolution of WXGA (1280x800).

A SVGA (800x600) projector native resolution is in fact the worst resolution amongst all 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for a comparable time to this projector.

The best resolution amongst comparable types of projector is WUXGA (1920x1200).

With a projector brightness of 3,000 ANSI lumens, the Epson Home Cinema 600 has a fairly average projector brightness compared to most of the other projectors of a comparable spec and age to this projector.

There are a number of other 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness projectors currently available which you might want to look at including because of it's better review score, the Epson EX6220.

If you are looking for a brighter projector brightness then you might also want to look at the Panasonic PT-RZ370 ($3,399) (3,500 ANSI lumens).
