2 Reasons For

Good Brand

Epson has good average reviews for its data projectors as well as across its entire data projector range compared to other manufacturers.

Light

The average weight of comparable spec data projectors that were released more than two years ago is 5kg, and the weights range from 2.2g to 26kg. At only 2.3 grams, the Epson EB-X9 is very light compared to most of the other comparable spec projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the EB-X9.

6 Reasons Against

Does Not Support 3D

Most of the other multimedia projectors that are a comparable age to the EB-X9 support 3D, however the Epson EB-X9 does not support 3D.

We compared all the other projectors which also support 3D to this multimedia projector and we think the Benq W7000+[plb_1403580_price] which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker(s)

The Epson EB-X9 does not have a built-in speaker(s), unlike most of the other data projectors that have been available for around the same time as the EB-X9.

There are a number of other multimedia projectors which also have a built-in speaker(s) which you might also want to look at including the Acer H7531D[plb_1418806_price], or the Epson PowerLite 98[plb_2397986_price].

Does Not Support Full HD

The Epson EB-X9 does not support full HD, although keep in mind that most of the other data projectors that have been on the market for more than two years also do not support full HD.

We compared this projector to all the other projectors with a full HD and we think the Benq W7000+[plb_1403580_price], or the Optoma HD30[plb_1915718_price] which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

The Epson EB-X9 does not support wi-Fi. Most of the other data projectors of a similar spec and age to the EB-X9 also do not support wi-Fi.

It is worth also looking at other data projectors which also support wi-Fi including the Benq GP20[plb_2231335_price] which is also higher rated.
