Poor High Def TV

Several Epson EB-X27 owners mentioned in their reviews that the product was not good at displaying high definition TV. This month Markz said in their review of the Epson EB-X27 on Amazon “Not full hd” but they still gave the Epson EB-X27 a very good rating.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that came out around the same time as this data projector have projector brightnesses of between 600 ANSI lumens and 16,000 ANSI lumens. At only 2,700 ANSI lumens, the Epson EB-X27 has a quite dim projector brightness compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for a comparable time to this projector.

If this 10000:1 contrast ratio projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to look at the NEC V302X (3,000 ANSI lumens), the Acer H6517BD (3,200 ANSI lumens), or the Vivitek DX255 (3,200 ANSI lumens).
