Supports Full HD

The Epson 1284 supports full HD, unlike most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that were released more than a year ago which do not support full HD.

There are a number of alternative projectors which support full HD currently available that you might also want to look at including the W1110 ($1,036.96), or the W2000 ($1,353.70) both from Benq which has better reviews.

The highest resolution of the Epson 1284 is WUXGA (1920x1200). That's over two times the resolution of the most common projector native resolution of WXGA (1280x800).

This projector's resolution (WUXGA (1920x1200)) is in fact the best resolution amongst all projectors of this age and spec.

An XGA (1024x768) projector native resolution is the worst resolution amongst similar types of projector.

The Epson 1284 supports a maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+). That's over five times the resolution of the most common supported graphics resolutions of 640 x 480 (VGA). This data projector also support supported graphics resolutionss of 800 x 600 (SVGA), 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1152 x 864 (XGA+), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 800 (WXGA), 1280 x 960, 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 1440 x 900 and 1600 x 900.
