6 Reasons For

Just Released Five Months Ago

This EIKI data projector was only released five months ago, so it is likely to use more advanced technology than some of the older data projectors.

Has a Built-In Speaker(s)

The EK-400X has a built-in speaker(s), as do most of the other new similar spec projectors.

We compared this projector to all the other projectors with a built-in speaker(s) and we think cheaper data projectors such as the EIKI EK-401W is also worth considering.

We compared all the other projectors which also have a built-in speaker(s) to this data projector and we think the EH-TW6700W, or the EH-TW6700 both from Epson is also worth considering.

Fairly Bright Projector Brightness

The average projector brightness of latest similar spec projectors is 3,800 ANSI lumens. At 5,500 ANSI lumens, the EK-400X has a fairly bright projector brightness compared to most of the other similar spec data projectors that have been available for around the same time as the EK-400X.

If this multimedia projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might also want to consider the Viewsonic PRO9510L ($1,499.99) (6,200 ANSI lumens).

The EK-400X supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most common supported graphics resolutions of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this projector). In addition, this data projector support supported graphics resolutionss of 800 x 600 (SVGA), 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 768 (WXGA), 1280 x 800 (WXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) and 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+). Across all latest projectors the best resolution is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) and the worst is 640 x 480 (VGA).

Chart Edit

Three VGA (D-Sub) Ports Quantitys

Most of the other data projectors that have been available for around the same time as the EK-400X only have between one and two VGA (D-Sub) ports quantitys, however the EIKI EK-400X has three VGA (D-Sub) ports quantitys.
