Video

Does Not Support Full HD

The Casio XJ-V2 does not support full HD, unlike most of the other similar spec projectors that have been on the market for more than a year which support full HD.

There are a number of other projectors which also support full HD which you might want to look at including the Acer H6518BD, or the Optoma 3500 Lumens Full HD Projector.

Projector

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

With a projector brightness of only 3,000 ANSI lumens, the Casio XJ-V2 has a quite dim projector brightness compared to most of the other data projectors of a comparable type and age to this projector. The projector brightnesses of multimedia projectors that were released one year ago range from 300 ANSI lumens to 5,400 ANSI lumens.

We compared this projector to all the other 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness projectors and we think because of it's better review score, the Viewsonic PJD5553LWS ($529.99) is also worth considering.

If you are looking for a brighter projector brightness then you might want to look at the Acer H5381BD (3,200 ANSI lumens), or the Optoma GT760A (3,200 ANSI lumens) which is also cheaper.

Performance

Very Loud Noise Level
