Some people said that it had good picture quality.

A few customers who purchased this projector said that it was good quality. Pcmag.com wrote on expert review site PC Mag four years ago “Is otherwise very similar, providing a basic feature set, adequate data and fairly good video image quality, in a portable data projector” in their Canon 7297M review although they only gave the product a score of 3 stars. Pcmag.com also said “The Canon LV-7297M provides solid image quality for a moderately priced XGA projector with a basic feature set”. Pc Mag mentioned on PC Mag “Solid (if unspectacular) image quality” in their review of this projector but they gave it a score of 60 out of 100.

The Canon 7297M supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). That's 20% more resolution than the most common supported graphics resolutions of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) (which is also supported by this projector). This data projector also support supported graphics resolutionss of 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 768 (WXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+), 1440 x 900 (WXGA+), 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+) and 640 x 480 (VGA) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).
