Good 3D Picture Quality

Twenty people reckoned that it had a good 3D picture quality. Trustedreviews.com said on expert website Trusted Reviews “It's full HD, supports 3D and is at the time of writing available for just a smidge over £1100, making it eye” and gave this projector a rating of 5 stars. Mr. Alan T. Fidler said in his review of this projector on Amazon “It is a short throw DLP Projector offering full 1080P High Definition images, 3D and really good colour performance” and gave this projector a score of 7 stars. Vivek Iyer said in their review of the Benq W1400 “Sky 3d looks amazing”.

Good Picture Quality

Fourteen owners wrote in their reviews that this projector had good picture quality. Mr. Alan T. Fidler said on Amazon three years ago “Out of the box the picture quality is really very nice” and gave the product a score of 6 stars. Two years ago S B. scored it 6 stars and said in their review of this projector “If you try to bring out some shadow detail the bright areas start to burn out”. Vytautas Kubilius said on Amazon last year “The picture quality is great”.

Three people concluded that it had good colour saturation. Raj wrote “I decided to go for this as the wisdom of the crowd suggested that the colours are better out of the box” . Amazon Customer wrote in their Benq W1400 review three years ago “What's more, even using the factory settings, I'm conscious that the colours are far more vivid” . Good High Def TV

Peterf wrote on Amazon “So, after several months deliberation I finally decided to treat myself to a new full HD projector.I finally settled on the BenQ W1070+, largely because it fit my budget” in their review of this projector and gave it a score of 7 stars. Nick Long wrote on Amazon “Is this Projector worth it? Yes, on a good sale it is (< £700), if you are out to spend > 1k get a Full HD 3LCD Projector”. Fidler mentioned on Amazon “I recommend a maximum setting of Low for Frame interpolation should you decide to use it, turning off Brilliant Colour”. Vytautas Kubilius mentioned in their review of the Benq W1400 last year “Easy to use” and scored it 8 stars. Master Oz wrote in their review of this projector on Amazon two years ago “My advise is to use Hoya 72 mm HMC NDx2”.

Five people said in their reviews that the product was easy to use the menus. Raj mentioned in their review of this projector on Amazon “The menu was easy to understand”. The best resolution of all 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been around for around the same time as this projector is WUXGA (1920x1200) and the worst is SVGA (800x600).

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

With a projector brightness of only 2,200 ANSI lumens, the Benq W1400 has a quite dim projector brightness compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for a similar time to this data projector. The dimmest projector brightness of data projectors of this age and type is 300 ANSI lumens and the brightest is 20,000 ANSI lumens.

If you would prefer a data projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might want to look at the MH680 (3,000 ANSI lumens), or the TH682 ($923.59) (3,000 ANSI lumens) both from Benq or the Epson PowerLite 955W ($699) (3,000 ANSI lumens) which is also higher rated.
