The Benq SP840 has a maximum resolution of 1080p (1920x1080). That's over two times the resolution of the most common projector native resolution of WXGA (1280x800).

A 1080p (1920x1080) projector native resolution is in fact the best resolution amongst all 3000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for around the same time as this projector.

A SVGA (800x600) projector native resolution is the worst resolution amongst similar types of projector.
