There are a number of alternative 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors currently available that you might also want to look at including the Optoma X304M ($579.99) which is cheaper; or the Benq MH680 which has better reviews.

Data projectors with a brighter projector brightness that might be worth considering include the Epson 965H ($450) (3,500 ANSI lumens and higher rated) or the Panasonic PT-TW340 (3,200 ANSI lumens and cheaper), or the NEC M362 (3,600 ANSI lumens and cheaper).
