In the same month expert review site Pcmag.com gave the product a rating of 5 stars and mentioned in their review of this projector “The BenQ MX661%displayPrice% at %seller% is designed primarily for corporate settings good brightness and resolution, solid data image quality, portability”. Itreviews.com wrote on expert review site IT Reviews.com “The BenQ MX661 is a good choice as a business projector, providing solid data image quality, reasonably good video”.

The quietest noise level of 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been on the market for more than two years is 26dB and the loudest is 40dB. With a noise level of 34 decibels, the Benq MX661 has a quite loud noise level compared to most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for a comparable time to this projector.

There are a number of other 34dB noise level projectors currently available which you might also want to look at including the Optoma W300, or the Benq W770ST which has better reviews.

If you would consider a projector with a louder noise level then you might want to look at the Acer P1276 (34dB).
