The Benq MS616ST has one of the dimmer projector brightnesss (only 2,500 ANSI lumens) amongst similar spec projectors of this age. 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been around for a similar time to the MS616ST have projector brightnesss of between 800 ANSI lumens and 4,200 ANSI lumens.

We compared this data projector to all the other 2,500 ANSI lumens brightness projectors and we think the Benq MX850UST which has better reviews is also worth considering.

If you want a brighter projector brightness then you might want to look at the Acer X112 (2,700 ANSI lumens), the Optoma DX330 (2,800 ANSI lumens), or the Benq MX518 (2,800 ANSI lumens) which also has a higher rating.
