Denis Dal Lago also wrote “It doesn't particularly bother me, still if you set the power saving mode on you can roughly halve the noise coming from it at the cost of some brightness”. Last year Ozzy mentioned in their review of the Acer H6517BD on Amazon “Makes a horrible screeching noise” but despite that they still scored it very highly.
