The H5381BD supports full HD. Most of the other data projectors of a comparable type and age to this data projector also support full HD.

We compared all the other projectors which support full HD to this projector and we think cheaper projectors such as the W331 ($399.00), and the DS347 both from Optoma is also worth considering.

Other projectors which also support full HD that you might also want to consider include the Optoma 3500 Lumens Full HD Projector.

Has a Built-In Speaker(s)

The H5381BD has a built-in speaker(s), as do most of the other projectors that have been around for more than a year.

We compared all the other projectors with a built-in speaker(s) to this projector and we think the Viewsonic PJD5553LWS ($529.99) which has better reviews; or the Optoma W331 ($399.00) which is cheaper are also worth considering.

There are a number of alternative projectors which also have a built-in speaker(s) which you might want to look at including the Optoma GT760A.

Projector

Average Projector Brightness

With a projector brightness of 3,200 ANSI lumens, the H5381BD has a pretty typical projector brightness compared to most of the other similar spec multimedia projectors that came out more than a year ago.

We compared this data projector to all the other 3,200 ANSI lumens brightness projectors and we think the Acer P1285 TCO which is cheaper is also worth considering.

If this data projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might want to consider the X1378WH (3,800 ANSI lumens), or the X1278H (3,800 ANSI lumens) both from Acer which is also cheaper.
